How to use Add watermark
Type a watermark such as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL, or upload a JPG or PNG logo, and PDFVelora stamps it over your pages. Place it in the centre, in a corner or along an edge, set its size, colour, opacity and angle, and apply it to every page or only the pages you list. A preview shows the result on your own pages before you start. Text is written as real text, in any script, Arabic included.

Questions about Add watermark
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Choose Image and upload a JPG or PNG. Its width is set as a percentage of the page width, from 5% to 100%. The picture is re-encoded without its metadata before it's added.
How do I make the watermark faint?
Lower the opacity: 5% gives a very faint mark and 100% a solid one. Text watermarks start at 30% opacity, angled at 45°, and you can turn them anywhere from -180° to 180°.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Choose Some pages and enter page numbers and ranges, such as 1-3, 5, 8- (8- means page 8 to the end).
Does it work on password-protected PDFs?
A PDF that needs a password to open must be unlocked first with Unlock PDF. A PDF that only restricts printing or copying keeps those restrictions after watermarking.
Is adding a watermark free?
Yes. Without an account you can run 3 tasks a day, and a free account gives you 5. Pro and Business plans have no daily limit.
What happens to my files after watermarking?
Files are encrypted in transit and deleted automatically: after 2 hours for visitors and after 24 hours for account holders, unless you save them to My documents.
