How to use HTML to PDF

PDFVelora opens your HTML file in headless Chromium and prints it with the browser's own PDF engine, the same output as Save as PDF in Chrome. Your CSS applies, including print styles; scripts run, so charts and content built in JavaScript appear; and background colours and images are printed. Images, fonts and stylesheets linked by a full web address are loaded. Choose A4 or US Letter, portrait or landscape, and convert up to 20 files at once.

Questions about HTML to PDF

Will my CSS and JavaScript work?

Yes. The page is rendered by Chromium with scripts turned on and printed with print media styles, so your @media print rules and page-break properties apply. Background colours and images are printed too.

Why are some images or styles missing?

Only the HTML file itself is uploaded, so files it references by a relative path, such as images/logo.png or style.css, can't be found. Link them by a full https:// address, or embed them in the file with inline CSS and data: URLs.

Can I choose the page size?

Yes. Choose A4 or US Letter, in portrait or landscape. The format you pick here is used even if your CSS sets a page size with @page.

Can I convert a live web page instead of a file?

Yes, with URL to PDF: paste the address of a public page and it is printed the same way.

Is converting HTML to PDF free?

Yes. Without an account you can run 3 tasks a day, and a free account gives you 5. Pro and Business plans have no daily limit.

What happens to my file after conversion?

Files are encrypted in transit and deleted automatically: after 2 hours for visitors and after 24 hours for account holders, unless you save them to My documents.
