How to use Images to PDF

PDFVelora puts up to 20 images into a single PDF, one page per image in the order you choose, with a page for every frame of a multi-page TIFF. Keep each page the size of its image, or fit the images to A4 or US Letter pages, in portrait, landscape or whichever suits each picture, with or without margins. JPEG photos are placed in the PDF as they are, without being re-compressed, so they keep their original quality.

Questions about Images to PDF

Which image formats can I use?

JPG, PNG, HEIC (the default iPhone photo format), WebP, GIF and TIFF. A multi-page TIFF gives one page per frame; for an animated GIF, only the first frame is used.

Will my photos lose quality?

JPEG photos are embedded without re-compression, so they look exactly as they did. Other formats keep their full resolution. Transparent areas become white, and photos are turned upright using their orientation tag.

What does the Automatic orientation do?

With A4 or US Letter pages, each image gets the orientation that fits it best: landscape for wide pictures, portrait for tall ones. Each image is centred and enlarged or reduced to fit the page inside the margins.

The PDF is too large. How can I make it smaller?

Phone photos are large, so a PDF of many photos can be heavy. Run the result through Compress PDF to reduce its size.

Is converting images to PDF free?

Yes. Without an account you can run 3 tasks a day, and a free account gives you 5. Pro and Business plans have no daily limit.

What happens to my images after conversion?

Files are encrypted in transit and deleted automatically: after 2 hours for visitors and after 24 hours for account holders, unless you save them to My documents.
