How to use Merge PDF

Add the PDFs you want to combine, up to 20 at a time, and set their order by dragging them or with the arrow buttons. PDFVelora copies every page as it is, so text, images and fonts are neither re-compressed nor altered. Smaller files are merged right in your browser and never uploaded; large files and restricted or damaged PDFs are merged on our servers instead, then deleted automatically.

  1. Add your PDFs

Drop two or more PDF files on the page or choose them from your device.

  2. Set the order

Drag the files into the order you want, or use the up and down arrows. Remove a file with its cross.

  3. Merge

Click Process to put every page of every file, in that order, into one PDF.

  4. Download the merged PDF

Download the combined file and open it in any PDF reader.

Questions about Merge PDF

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

Up to 20 files in one merge. To combine more, merge them in batches, then merge the resulting files together.

Does merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?

No. Pages are copied as they are: text stays selectable, images keep their resolution and fonts are unchanged. If the merged file is too heavy to send, run it through Compress PDF afterwards.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

A PDF that asks for a password to open must be unlocked first with Unlock PDF. Files that open freely but restrict editing can be merged: they are processed on our servers.

Is merging PDFs free?

Yes. Without an account you can run 3 tasks a day, and a free account gives you 5. Pro and Business plans have no daily limit.

Are my files uploaded?

Smaller files are processed in your browser and never leave your device. Large files, and PDFs your browser can't edit, are encrypted in transit, processed on our servers and deleted automatically: after 2 hours for visitors and 24 hours for account holders, unless you save them to My documents.
