How to use PDF to JPG

PDFVelora renders every page of your PDF as a JPG image, just as it appears in a PDF viewer, filled-in form fields included. Choose the resolution that fits your use: 72 DPI for screens and email, 150 DPI as a standard, 300 DPI for printing or 600 DPI for fine detail. A single-page PDF gives one JPG; a longer document gives a ZIP with one image per page, numbered in order.

  1. Upload your PDF

Drop the PDF on the page or choose it from your device.

  2. Choose the image quality

Pick 72, 150, 300 or 600 DPI. Higher values give sharper images and larger files.

  3. Convert

Start the conversion. Every page of the PDF is rendered as a JPG.

  4. Download your images

Download the JPG, or the ZIP holding one image per page, and use them anywhere.

Questions about PDF to JPG

Which resolution should I choose?

72 DPI keeps files small for screens and email, 150 DPI is a good all-round choice, 300 DPI suits printing, and 600 DPI captures fine detail but makes large files. Very large pages, such as posters, are rendered at a lower resolution to keep the image manageable.

How do I get the images of a multi-page PDF?

They come in a ZIP file with one JPG per page, named page-001.jpg, page-002.jpg and so on, so they stay in the right order once extracted.

JPG or PNG: which should I use?

JPG gives smaller files and suits pages with photos. For pages that are mostly text, diagrams or screenshots, PDF to PNG keeps edges sharper.

Can I convert only some pages?

Every page is converted. To get images of just a few pages, use Extract pages first to keep the ones you need, then convert that smaller PDF.

Is converting PDF to JPG free?

Yes. Without an account you can run 3 tasks a day, and a free account gives you 5. Pro and Business plans have no daily limit.

What happens to my file after conversion?

Files are encrypted in transit and deleted automatically: after 2 hours for visitors and after 24 hours for account holders, unless you save them to My documents.
