How to use PDF to PNG
PDFVelora draws each page of your PDF as a PNG image. PNG doesn't add compression artefacts, so small text, thin lines, charts and diagrams stay crisp, which makes it the right format for slides, documentation and tutorials. Pick 72, 150, 300 or 600 DPI depending on where the images will go. One page gives one PNG; several pages come back as a ZIP of numbered files, from page-001.png onwards.

Questions about PDF to PNG
Why choose PNG instead of JPG?
PNG keeps text and line art sharp, without the blur JPG compression can add around edges. The trade-off is file size: for pages full of photos, PDF to JPG gives much smaller files.
Will the PNG have a transparent background?
No. Pages are rendered on a white background, as they appear in a PDF viewer, so the images look the same everywhere you paste them.
What resolution do I need?
For screens, 150 DPI is usually enough; for printing, choose 300 DPI. 600 DPI is for zooming into fine detail and produces large files. Very large pages are capped at a manageable size.
How are multi-page PDFs delivered?
As one ZIP file holding a PNG per page, named page-001.png, page-002.png and so on. A single-page PDF gives a single PNG with no ZIP.
Is converting PDF to PNG free?
Yes. Without an account you can run 3 tasks a day, and a free account gives you 5. Pro and Business plans have no daily limit.
What happens to my file after conversion?
Files are encrypted in transit and deleted automatically: after 2 hours for visitors and after 24 hours for account holders, unless you save them to My documents.
