How to use PDF to PowerPoint

PDFVelora turns each page of your PDF into a PowerPoint slide that looks like the original and stays editable. The page's shapes, colours and pictures form the slide background, and every line of text sits on top in its own text box, with its original font, size and colour, ready to be rewritten. Scanned pages keep the whole page as a picture, and their text, read with OCR, goes into the slide notes.

Questions about PDF to PowerPoint

Can I edit the text on the slides?

Yes. Each line of text is a separate text box at its original position, with its font, size, weight and colour, so you can retype, move or delete it like any PowerPoint text.

Can I move pictures, charts and shapes separately?

No. Shapes, charts, table borders and pictures are drawn into a background image behind the text, which keeps each slide faithful to the PDF. You can cover or replace parts of it in PowerPoint.

What happens with scanned pages?

A scanned page becomes a slide showing the full page picture. Its text is read with OCR in English, French, Arabic or Spanish and placed in the slide notes, so it doesn't appear twice on the slide.

What size are the slides?

The slides take the proportions of the first PDF page, so a 16:9 PDF gives widescreen slides and an A4 page gives A4 slides. Pages of another size are centred on the slide.

Is converting PDF to PowerPoint free?

Yes. Without an account you can run 3 tasks a day, and a free account gives you 5. Pro and Business plans have no daily limit.

What happens to my file after conversion?

Files are encrypted in transit and deleted automatically: after 2 hours for visitors and after 24 hours for account holders, unless you save them to My documents.
