Billing questions
How do I cancel?
Open Billing in your dashboard and choose “Cancel subscription”, then confirm once. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and you aren't charged again.
Will I be reminded before I'm charged again?
Yes. We email you 3 days before every renewal, monthly or yearly, with the exact date and amount. Your Billing page always shows your next renewal date and charge.
Can I pay in my own currency?
Prices are listed in US dollars. At checkout, Paddle can show and charge the price in your local currency where available, and you see the exact amount before you pay. Your renewal reminder shows the amount you will be charged.
Can I switch plans or billing period?
Yes, at any time from Billing → “Change plan”. You see what the change costs before confirming: the difference for the rest of your current period is charged right away, and a downgrade leaves a credit for your next payments.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing is ever charged automatically. On Free, tasks reset every day (UTC), so you can continue the next day or upgrade. A file above your plan's size limit is refused before it uploads.
How do Business seats work?
Business is billed per seat, with at least 2 seats including yours. From Billing, give seats to colleagues by email: each gets every Business feature with their own account and AI credits. Add or remove seats at any time.
What are AI credits?
AI tools (Chat with PDF, summaries, translation, the writing assistant) use credits according to the AI usage of each request: 1 credit = $0.01 of AI model cost. Credits reset on the 1st of every month (UTC).
How do I pay, and is it secure?
Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record; we never see or store your card number. You can pay by card, PayPal and, depending on your country, other payment methods offered at checkout. Your receipts and invoices come from Paddle.
