How to use Reorder pages

Drag the page thumbnails into the order you want; moved pages are highlighted and labelled with their new position. Reverse order flips the whole document in one click, handy for scans fed in back to front, and Original order undoes everything. Pages can also be moved with the keyboard. Smaller files are processed in your browser without being uploaded; large or restricted PDFs are processed on our servers and deleted automatically.

  1. Upload your PDF

    Drop the PDF on the page or choose it from your device.

  2. Drag pages into place

    Drag each thumbnail to its new position. With the keyboard, press Space, move with the arrow keys and press Space again.

  3. Use the shortcuts

    Click Reverse order to flip the document, or Original order to start again.

  4. Save and download

    Click Process and download the reordered PDF.

Questions about Reorder pages

Can I reverse the page order of a PDF?

Yes. Click Reverse order and the last page becomes the first. You can still move individual pages afterwards.

Can I reorder pages without a mouse?

Yes. Focus a page, press Space to pick it up, move it with the arrow keys and press Space to drop it. Escape cancels the move.

Can I reorder pages from several PDFs?

Combine the files first with Merge PDF, then open the merged document here to arrange its pages.

Is reordering PDF pages free?

Yes. Without an account you can run 3 tasks a day, and a free account gives you 5. Pro and Business plans have no daily limit.

Are my files uploaded?

Smaller files are processed in your browser and never leave your device. Large files, and PDFs your browser can't edit, are encrypted in transit, processed on our servers and deleted automatically: after 2 hours for visitors and 24 hours for account holders, unless you save them to My documents.
