How to use Resize image
Need a photo exactly 1920 pixels wide for a website, or half its size for an email? PDFVelora resizes JPG, PNG and WebP images either by a percentage of their size, from 1 to 400%, or to fit a width and/or height in pixels. Proportions are always kept, so nothing is stretched or cropped, and each image keeps its format. Resizing uses high-quality Lanczos resampling, and up to 20 images can be resized in one batch with the same setting.

Questions about Resize image
How does resizing to a width and height work?
Enter a width, a height or both. The image is made as large as possible while fitting inside both, without changing its proportions. For example, a 4000 × 3000 photo with a width of 1920 becomes 1920 × 1440 pixels.
Can I stretch an image to exact dimensions?
No. Proportions are always kept so that faces and text never look distorted. If the width and height you enter don't match the image's shape, one side ends up smaller than the value you typed. Nothing is cropped.
Can I make an image bigger?
Yes, up to 400% of its size, as long as the result stays within 20,000 pixels per side and 100 megapixels. Enlarging gives a smooth result, but it can't add detail that isn't in the original.
Will a smaller image also be a lighter file?
Usually, yes: fewer pixels means a lighter file. The format doesn't change, so a JPG stays a JPG. For the lightest possible file, run the resized image through Compress image afterwards.
Is resizing images free?
Yes. Without an account you can run 3 tasks a day, and a free account gives you 5. Pro and Business plans have no daily limit.
What happens to my images after resizing?
Files are encrypted in transit and deleted automatically: after 2 hours for visitors and after 24 hours for account holders, unless you save them to My documents.
